Carrie & Elisia Ross-Stone are lesbian life partners and
co-founders of Rainbow Law, a legal resource and information service designed to
educate, empower and enable the LGBTQ Community to legally protect their family
of choice. Also known as the Rainbow Grannies, Elisia & Carrie are the
mothers of three grown children and grandmothers of two.
Married in Canada in 2003, they are full-time activists devoted to the cause of
LGBTQ equality.
At this years Pride In The Arts Festival, Carrie & Elisia
will present a workshop entitled:
"Get All Your Ducks In A Row: How to Protect Your
Relationship and Your Rights."*
Elisia & Carrie present vital and complex legal information
in an easy-to-understand format that is interesting, dynamic and fun. They
know first-hand the difficulties facing LGBT families in a society that does not
value, respect or recognize same-sex relationships.
Participants in the workshop will receive FREE ADVANCE DIRECTIVES that are
individualized, state specific and valid according to their state's law.
*Remember: No matter how long you have been with your partner - until you
put your wishes in a legal writing -- you are strangers in the eyes of the law!*
