Artists Registration to exhibit & perform.

Attention ALL Artists!
It is our goal to have all categories of the Pride In the Arts Awards represented in the Festival.
We have space for visual arts exhibitions out of the sun and under cover.
There are three different stage areas for musicians and performance artists. The atmosphere of Longfork will also lend itself to more free form performance styles like mime and French Quarter street styles.

Book signings and Author greets would be a perfect blend for the surroundings and available placements throughout the festival.

We will be featuring our newest category, Film this year in the festival by holding a Film Festival for two categories;
Music Video and Film / Movie / Documentary. Recipients of the Festival Favorite Awards will be determined by live voting during the Festival. These Festival Awards will be separate from the Pride In The Arts Awards presented in October.

To submit your music video or film for the Festival Favorite Film Festival email:  Festival Entertainment. Films and videos should be in retail packages as the entire package will be exhibited. Submission deadline is April 20, 2006. We must receive the films/DVD's by May 5, 2006.

Participating artists are encouraged to bring and sell artwork free from any festival commissions and or fees. This is after all a festival for Pride In The Arts. As with all StoneWall Society promotions, sexually explicit items may not be included. Exhibit space and performance space will be utilized to optimize the art featured.

The Festival will be filmed and content made available to Pride Organizers and GLBTI Community Centers to aid artists in areas of community awareness and promotional materials. The film will also be available for private purchase. Participating artists will be asked to sign a release so that we may include your art and likeness in the film. Participating Artists will receive a free copy of the film for their participation.

Participating artists will be eligible for a free camp site during the Festival from Longfork. Reservations and arrangements for your camp site will be made through the booking contact for the Festival. Each artist may have a guest present at the Festival at no charge. Again booking will take that information to see that artist's guests have necessary passes.  In cases where an artist requires additional support we will work with each artist on an individual basis.

To register your application to participate in the festival please simply complete the registration via our online form here. Or
email us with your questions.

To register or for more participating artist information email Festival Entertainment

All artists will receive response to application to participate within three days.

Performance and exhibit schedules will be sent to each confirmed participating artist after the registration deadline date of April 20, 2006 but before May 15, 2006.
