Finally, after five design failures I was able to mail out the
2009 Pride In The Arts Music Awards (announced in March), last week. Many thanks
to patient recipients! I am always asking for feedback so wanted to share some
so far on the awards received;

Hi Len,
I can only add to what Scott and John have expressed so well: I received my PITA
Award two days ago, and I promptly displayed it in my studio, and showed it to
Kermitt as soon as he came in! Words can't convey how grateful I am to be part
of the Stonewall Society and how grateful and appreciative I am for all you do
on behalf of artists such as me. I am both humbled and proud to be part of this
gifted group of artists. Much gratitude and love to everyone who voted and
participated in the Awards this year.

I received my PITA Producer-of-the-Year Award a few days ago in the mail. As
John Hurt said in The Elephant Man - "I have put it in a place of
honor"(!)
It resides, in pride, on the "awards wall" here at Urban Productions
recording studio. Thank you for sending; thanks to JD DOYLE for financing the
mailing; thanks again to all who voted for me; and special thanks to Roger
Yolanda Mapes, whose songs on HOUSE OF JOY inspired me to play, produce,
arrange, record and mix my best.
